We build simple, dependable PDF tools that run in your browser - so anyone can edit, convert and organise documents without expensive desktop software.
PDFlyHub is an online document toolkit built and run by a small, independent team of engineers. We started it after getting tired of the same two bad options: desktop PDF software that costs more than the document is worth, or free websites that bury your file under adverts, stamp a watermark across every page, and stay vague about what happens to your upload afterwards.
So we built the alternative we wanted to use ourselves. PDFlyHub brings together 37 of the PDF jobs people actually need - merging, splitting, compressing, converting to and from Word, Excel and PowerPoint, adding and removing passwords, filling and signing forms, running OCR on scanned pages - in one place, with a clear interface and no tricks.
Wherever the work can be done on your own machine, it is. 20 of our tools run fully inside the browser using its own capabilities, which means the document is never transmitted anywhere at all. The rest need real server-side processing power, and for those we are explicit about it: the file is processed, your result is returned, and the original is removed from our servers afterwards.
We are not a large company, and we do not pretend to be one. That is also the point - it means you can email us and reach the people who actually build the thing.
